Palmyra Woman Charged with DWI Following Vehicle Collision

Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Palmyra woman on multiple charges following an investigation into a property damage motor vehicle collision.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident and arrested Marcy A. Keown, 64, of Walworth Road, Palmyra. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Speed Not Reasonable or Prudent, Moving from Lane Unsafely, Preliminary Breath Test Refusal, and Driving to the Left of Pavement Markings.

Authorities allege that Keown was traveling north on Walworth Road when her vehicle left the roadway and became stuck in a roadside ditch. Deputies suspected she was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She consented to a blood draw, which reportedly showed a blood alcohol content of 0.33%.

Keown was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Macedon Court on March 11 to answer the charges.
