A lucky lottery player in Liverpool has won big in the New York Lottery’s TAKE 5 EVENING drawing on March 7.

According to lottery officials, a top-prize-winning ticket worth $38,642 was sold at the FASTRAC EG convenience store located at 7189 Oswego Road in Liverpool.

TAKE 5 drawings occur twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a pool of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery is one of the largest in North America, contributing billions of dollars annually to fund public schools across the state.
