A lucky New York Lottery player in Rochester has won nearly $20,000 after purchasing a TAKE 5 top-prize ticket.
According to the New York Lottery, the winning ticket for the March 8 TAKE 5 midday drawing was sold at World Wide News, located at 100 St. Paul Street in Rochester. The ticket is worth $19,958.
TAKE 5 drawings occur twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
