Williamson Woman Arrested for DWI After Crash in Ontario
Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that a driver had left the road and crashed into a snow embankment along Ridge Road.
A Williamson woman was arrested following an investigation into a vehicle that had gone off the roadway in the Town of Ontario, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that a driver had left the road and crashed into a snow embankment along Ridge Road. Upon investigation, authorities arrested 62-year-old Carol E. Makley on multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content (BAC) over 0.08%, failure to maintain lane, and moving from a lane unsafely.
Makley was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, where a breath test indicated a BAC of 0.13%. She was then taken to the Wayne County Jail for processing and released on appearance tickets.
Makley is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Town Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
