Wayne County Treasurer’s Office Seeks Chief Accountant
The Wayne County Treasurer’s Office has announced a job opening for the position of Chief Accountant, a provisional role pending a Civil Service exam. Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must meet specific education and experience requirements. The minimum qualifications include:
A Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with at least 18 semester credit hours in accounting, plus two years of professional accounting or auditing experience, including one year in a supervisory role; or
A Bachelor’s degree in a similar field with the required accounting coursework and four years of related experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
