Wayne County Seeks Bids for Nursing Home Cooling Tower Replacement

Wayne County is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of the Evapco Cooling Tower at the Wayne County Nursing Home. The bidding process is open to qualified contractors, with submissions due by 3 p.m. on March 24, 2025.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled, and delivered either in person or by mail to the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors at 26 Church Street, Lyons, NY 14489. The proposals will be publicly opened and read at the deadline.

To assist interested bidders, the county has scheduled a Bidders Tour of the facility on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. Contractors will meet at the rear entrance of the nursing home, located at 1529 Nye Road, Lyons, NY 14489, where officials will be available to answer questions.

Proposal forms, specifications, and project plans can be accessed electronically through BidNet Direct or requested via email from the Wayne County Purchasing Department at purchasing@co.wayne.ny.us. Documents can also be obtained in person at the department’s office at 16 William Street, Lyons, NY. For inquiries, contractors can call 315-946-7675.
