Wayne County Offers Free Medicare 101 Classes in 2025
Classes are scheduled monthly at the Department of Aging and Youth office. While the sessions are free, reservations are required to ensure seating.
Wayne County’s Department of Aging and Youth will once again be offering its free “Medicare 101” classes throughout 2025, providing residents with essential information on how Medicare works, enrollment options, and available assistance.
The educational sessions aim to help individuals better understand what Medicare is, how to access benefits, and what coverage options may best suit their needs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with an insurance counselor for more personalized guidance.
Classes are scheduled monthly at the Department of Aging and Youth office, located at 1519 Nye Road in Lyons. While the sessions are free, reservations are required to ensure seating. Interested participants can call 315-946-5624 to register.
Each class runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:
