Ontario Man Arrested for Alleged Harassment and Property Damage in Domestic Dispute with Ex-Girlfriend
Authorities allege he spit on her, grabbed her by the hair, elbowed her in the face, and threw her to the ground.
An Ontario resident was arrested following a domestic dispute that escalated into alleged harassment and property damage, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported, following an investigation conducted with assistance from the New York State Police.
Michael P. Posato, 47, faces charges of third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment stemming from an incident involving his ex-girlfriend.
According to deputies, the conflict began after Posato reportedly became upset with his ex-girlfriend for driving on the grass. The situation escalated when Posato allegedly went downstairs and damaged her property.
When the ex-girlfriend returned home and confronted Posato, authorities allege he spit on her, grabbed her by the hair, elbowed her in the face, and threw her to the ground. No injuries were reported.
Posato was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail. He has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court on January 5 at 7:00 a.m.
