Wayne County Job Fair Offers Career Opportunities with Local Employers

Organized by the New York State Department of Labor, the job fair will feature a diverse range of employers and industries seeking to fill various positions.

Job seekers in Wayne County will have the chance to connect with local employers at the upcoming Wayne County Job Fair on February 20, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will take place at Finger Lakes Works, 1100 Technology Parkway, Newark, NY.

Organized by the New York State Department of Labor, the job fair will feature a diverse range of employers and industries seeking to fill various positions. Attending businesses include Garlock Sealing Technologies/Enpro, Advanced Atomization Technologies, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Lakeview Health, and several public sector employers, such as the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

A wide variety of job opportunities will be available, ranging from assembler, CNC machine operator, medical biller, and corrections officer to roles such as electrician, customer service representative, program manager, and direct support assistant. The event is open to all, and attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and dress in professional attire.

This job fair aims to provide both new graduates and seasoned professionals with access to local job opportunities, helping strengthen the Wayne County workforce and support local employers in filling critical roles.
