Wayne County Accepting Bids for Water Treatment Services

Wayne County has announced it is accepting sealed bids for Cooling Towers, Boilers, and Potable Water Treatment Services at multiple county facilities. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit their proposals by Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at the office of the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, located at 26 Church Street, Lyons, NY 14489.

Vendors can obtain official bid documents by contacting Wayne County Purchasing Agent Christopher O’Connor (NIGP-CPP, CPPB) at the Purchasing Department directly via email at Purchasing@co.wayne.ny.us or by phone at (315) 946-7674. Documents are also available through the BidNet Platform at www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/waynecountyny.

Officials advise vendors to ensure they receive accurate and complete bid documentation directly from the county’s Purchasing Department. Wayne County will not be responsible for incomplete or inaccurate information obtained from third-party sources, which could result in a bid being deemed ineligible.

It is also noted that the county does not provide a list of vendors who have received the bid specifications or cost estimates before the bid opening. Vendors are encouraged to reach out to the Purchasing Department directly for up-to-date information regarding the contract.

Wayne County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
