Wayne County 911 Dispatchers and Paramedics Recognized for Life-Saving Response
Two Wayne County 911 dispatchers and two paramedics were honored at the recent Wayne County Board of Supervisors meeting for their swift actions during a medical emergency on February 22.
It was reported that Ontario Town Supervisor Ben Aman experienced a medical emergency and had to call 911, prompting dispatchers Brandon Lagasse and Paul Fera to coordinate an immediate response. Their quick decision-making ensured that emergency personnel arrived without delay.
Paramedics Tyler Bielec and Shaun Villegas of Western Wayne EMS responded to the call, providing the necessary medical care to stabilize Aman and ultimately save his life.
The recognition at the meeting highlighted the professionalism and dedication of Wayne County’s first responders. Supervisor Aman, who is recovering well, expressed gratitude for their efforts.
