Waterloo Woman Arrested on Grand Larceny, Identity Theft Charges

A Waterloo woman has been arrested in connection with an alleged credit card theft and unauthorized purchases, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took Katalina A. Mongelli, 31, into custody on January 26, 2025, following an arrest warrant for multiple charges, including grand larceny in the fourth degree, identity theft in the second degree, and identity theft in the third degree.

Following her arraignment in Seneca County’s Centralized Arraignment Part Court, Mongelli was released. She is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
