Walworth Man Arrested for Alleged Drug-Impaired Driving in Sodus

During the investigation, authorities determined that the man had taken a substance approximately two hours before operating the vehicle.

A Walworth man has been charged with driving while under the influence of drugs following a traffic stop in the Town of Sodus, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they pulled over Michael A. Sanzone, 38, for an expired inspection and failure to maintain his lane. During the investigation, authorities determined that Sanzone had taken a substance approximately two hours before operating the vehicle.

Sanzone was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court for further proceedings.
