Walworth Fire Department Welcomes Third-Generation Firefighter

The Walworth Fire Department officially welcomed a new member to its ranks Monday night. Derek Morabito, continuing a family tradition of service, was sworn in as the department’s newest firefighter.

Morabito is a third-generation firefighter, following in the footsteps of his father and late grandfather. His addition to the department highlights a continuing commitment to community service within his family.

The Walworth Fire Department expressed its support for Morabito as he begins his journey with the team, emphasizing the importance of volunteer firefighters in keeping the community safe.
