Victor Man Arrested, Accused of Throwing Tape Dispenser at Mr. Tire Employee

A Victor man was arrested following an alleged harassment incident at a local Mr. Tire auto shop, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies took Thomas Tortora, 53, into custody on January 21, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m. at his residence in Victor. The arrest stemmed from an incident at Mr. Tire, located at 6600 State Route 96, where authorities say a verbal altercation escalated into an employee being struck by a thrown tape dispenser.

Following an investigation, Tortora was charged with second-degree harassment. He is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court on February 11, 2025, to respond to the charges.
