U.S. Marshals Service Arrests Rochester Woman Following Wayne County Drug Investigation
Authorities say Broida was among 48 individuals indicted in 2023 following a long-term drug distribution investigation that began in Wayne County.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Rochester resident on an outstanding indictment warrant related to a large-scale narcotics investigation.
Alexis C.L. Broida, 24, of Avenue D in Rochester, was located and taken into custody on Niagara Street in Rochester by the U.S. Marshals Service. Authorities say Broida was among 48 individuals indicted in 2023 following a long-term drug distribution investigation that began in Wayne County.
According to officials, Broida was indicted in June 2023 for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and conspiracy in the second degree. The investigation was led by the New York State Attorney General’s Office, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, and multiple other law enforcement agencies.
Broida is currently being held at the Wayne County Jail and is awaiting arraignment before the Wayne County Court in Lyons.
