A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 104 and Cortland Drive resulted in minor injuries and traffic citations for both drivers, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision occurred when Michelle Williams, 37, of Williamson, allegedly ran a red light while traveling westbound and struck an oncoming vehicle driven by Alexander Budynski, 33, of Rochester. Budynski had been making a left turn from Cortland Drive onto State Route 104 when the nearly head-on impact occurred.
Williams reported minor pain but declined further medical treatment after being evaluated by emergency responders. Budynski was uninjured.
After investigating the crash, deputies cited Williams for failing to obey a traffic signal. Budynski was also issued a citation for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree after authorities discovered he was driving with a suspended license.
Emergency crews from the Ontario Fire Department, Williamson Fire Department, and Town of Ontario Ambulance provided assistance at the scene. Sullivan’s Towing later removed the vehicles.
