A Town of Ontario woman was taken into custody following an investigation into a reported domestic dispute, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrested Terry Bove, 35, of Ontario Center Road, on charges of Harassment in the Second Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Resisting Arrest.
Authorities say the incident began as a verbal argument involving Bove and two family members in the presence of a 4-year-old child. The situation allegedly escalated when Bove reportedly struck one of the individuals. Concerned for their safety, the child called another family member for assistance. When that person arrived, Bove is accused of continuing her aggressive behavior and striking the second individual while the child remained present.
Deputies responded to the scene and attempted to take Bove into custody, at which point she allegedly resisted arrest. She was eventually secured and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where she was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court.
