Three Rochester residents were taken into custody early Saturday morning following a traffic stop in the Town of Canandaigua, according to law enforcement officials.
Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff's Office conducted a stop at approximately 1:29 a.m. in front of 2380 State Route 332. During the stop, authorities reported discovering controlled substances inside the vehicle.
The occupants, identified as Calvin White Jr., 63, Brittany L. Hollaert, 28, and Doreen La Toiea Hamilton, 44, were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
White and Hamilton were released with appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
Hollaert, who authorities say has a history of failing to appear in court, was taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment. While in custody, she was allegedly found in possession of an additional controlled substance, leading to further charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
No further details were immediately available.
