Texas Man Arrested for Weapons Possession in Schuyler County

A Texas man was arrested after a traffic stop in the Town of Hector led to the discovery of a firearm, authorities said.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reported that Anthony S. Trujillo Jr., 42, of San Antonio, Texas, was stopped on State Route 414 on February 15, 2025. Following an investigation, deputies charged him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.

Trujillo was arraigned in Schuyler County CAP Court and remanded to the Schuyler County Jail pending further legal proceedings.
