New York State Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a woman suspected of identity theft at a Croghan, NY bank.
According to authorities, the suspect was captured on surveillance footage at Northern Federal Credit Union, where she allegedly impersonated another individual and withdrew $3,200 from the victim’s bank account. Police say the suspect used a driver’s license in the victim’s name to complete the transaction.
Investigators have released images of the individual and are asking anyone who recognizes her to come forward.
