A Stanley woman has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the Town of Waterloo, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Tim Thompson reported that deputies arrested Angela Lightfoote, 38, on March 15, 2025, after stopping a vehicle that was allegedly being driven without headlights. Following an investigation, deputies determined Lightfoote was intoxicated and took her into custody.
Authorities say Lightfoote's blood alcohol concentration was measured at 0.18% or higher, which exceeds the legal threshold for an aggravated DWI charge.
She was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she was processed and later released with an appearance ticket. Lightfoote is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
The case remains under investigation.
