Sodus Woman Accused of Using Kids to Steal Cash from Dental Hygienist

Erica M. Wickman, 38, has been charged with petit larceny and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Erica M. Wickman, 38, of Sodus, following an investigation into a theft at Sodus Community Health.

Authorities allege that on January 12, Wickman stole $300 from her dental hygienist and involved her children in the crime. While the specific nature of the juveniles’ involvement has not been disclosed, Wickman has been charged with petit larceny and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Wickman was issued an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in Sodus Town Court at a later date to face the charges.
