A Sodus Point man was arrested following an alleged hit-and-run accident in a Walgreens parking lot in Ontario, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took Mark Wilson, 52, of South Fitzhugh Street, into custody on charges of felony driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree. Authorities say the arrest followed an investigation into a crash where Wilson allegedly struck another vehicle in the parking lot before leaving the scene.
Law enforcement located Wilson and his vehicle in Sodus, where he was arrested. Deputies transported him to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he reportedly refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol concentration.
Wilson was then taken to the Wayne County Jail and was scheduled to appear for central arraignment on February 25, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.
