A Wayne County man who was arrested last year following a State Police drug raid has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Anthony Cromartie, 54, was taken into custody on February 20, 2024, after authorities executed a search warrant at his home on South Geneva Road in Sodus. The search, conducted by the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, led to the discovery of crack cocaine, fentanyl pills, packaging materials, and more than $1,300 in cash. Officers also recovered two rifles and a shotgun from the residence.
Cromartie was initially charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses. As part of a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to sell, a Class B felony.
In Wayne County Court, Judge Arthur B. Williams sentenced Cromartie to four years in state prison, followed by three years of post-release supervision. He was taken into custody immediately after sentencing and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he will remain until his transfer to state prison.
