A Seneca Falls woman has been charged with promoting prison contraband following an investigation at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
According to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson, Jessica M. Hopf, 35, was arrested on February 21, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Sheriff’s investigators allege that while Hopf was incarcerated at the facility, an unauthorized substance was found on her person.
Hopf was taken into custody at the correctional facility and held for arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Part Court. Further details regarding the nature of the substance or how it was discovered were not provided.
Authorities have not disclosed whether additional charges may be pending.
