Seneca Falls Man Arrested on Ontario County Family Court Warrant

A 45-year-old Seneca Falls man was arrested last weekend on an outstanding family court bench warrant issued by Ontario County Family Court.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Joseph C. Smith was taken into custody in Elmira, New York, on March 30, 2025, in connection with an unrelated matter. During that incident, authorities discovered the active warrant tied to Ontario County.

Following his arrest, Smith was transferred to the custody of Ontario County deputies and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
