Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Daniel Steele has completed the three-week Course in Police Supervision at the Monroe County Public Safety Training Center.
The training, overseen by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, is a requirement for all first-line police supervisors within a year of promotion. The course covers a range of topics, including legal procedures, incident management, and community relations, to better equip officers stepping into leadership roles.
Steele’s completion of the program marks a key step in his transition to a supervisory position within the department.
