The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office held a swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, March 19, at the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus to officially welcome its newest members.
Correction Officers Hunter Ford, Ryleigh Hayward, and Andrew Mateo took their oaths of office in front of family, colleagues, and Sheriff’s Office personnel.
Sheriff Thompson acknowledged the significance of the occasion, offering words of encouragement to the new officers. “I wish these three new Correction Officers the best of luck and continued safety as they start their careers,” he said.
The ceremony marks the beginning of their service with the agency, as they take on responsibilities within the county’s correctional system.
