A Savannah man has been charged following an investigation into a February motor vehicle collision in the Town of Galen, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Evan M. Morrin, 28, was arrested in connection with a crash that occurred on February 18 along State Route 31. During the investigation, authorities say blood test results indicated Morrin was under the influence at the time of the incident.
He has been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and moving from a lane unsafely.
Morrin was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and released. He is scheduled to appear in Galen Town Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
