Savannah Man Arrested Following Child Sexual Abuse Investigation

Authorities allege that Spino had sexual contact with a 9-year-old child while residing in the Town of Wolcott. The alleged incidents took place between January 2017 and January 2018.

Joshua A. Spino, 31, of Savannah, has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a juvenile, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities allege that Spino had sexual contact with a 9-year-old child while residing in the Town of Wolcott. The alleged incidents took place between January 2017 and January 2018.

Spino was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held pending centralized arraignment. His arraignment is scheduled for January 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
