Rose Man Arrested for Criminal Mischief in Ontario

A Rose man was arrested on Thursday following an incident at the Orchard Grove Mobile Home Park in the town of Ontario, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies reported that Joshua Waite, 38, of Elm Street in Rose, was taken into custody on March 21 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Authorities allege that Waite used his fists to break a window at the residence while attempting to wake a woman inside. Law enforcement had reportedly instructed him to leave the property a short time earlier.

Waite was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court at a later date.
