Rochester Woman Arrested on Bench Warrant in Ontario County

According to authorities, Khyana Brown, 29, was arrested at approximately 9 p.m. at the St. John Fisher Park & Ride. The warrant was issued after Brown allegedly failed to appear in court.

A Rochester woman was taken into custody by Ontario County deputies on Friday night on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Hopewell Town Court.

According to authorities, Khyana Brown, 29, was arrested at approximately 9 p.m. at the St. John Fisher Park & Ride. The warrant was issued after Brown allegedly failed to appear in court for a petit larceny charge.

Officials stated that Brown was initially detained by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office before being transferred to Ontario County. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she is being held pending arraignment.
