Rochester Woman Arrested After Failing to Appear in Ontario County
Authorities say the arrest was based on an outstanding Ontario County Court warrant related to a charge of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree.
A Rochester woman was taken into custody on Sunday after law enforcement executed a warrant for her arrest along Interstate 490 in the town of Victor.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Krista S. Kiblin was arrested at approximately 3:58 p.m. on February 25. Authorities say the arrest was based on an outstanding Ontario County Court warrant related to a charge of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree. The warrant was issued after Kiblin allegedly failed to appear in court for the case.
Officials reported that the arrest was carried out without incident. Following her apprehension, Kiblin was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held pending arraignment through the county’s Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) system.
Further details regarding the original charge or upcoming court proceedings were not immediately available.
