Rochester Man Faces Felony Impaired Driving Charges in Schuyler County

A Rochester man has been charged with felony impaired driving and other traffic violations following a traffic stop in Schuyler County.

Authorities say Gerard J. Santangelo, 39, was pulled over on February 13, 2025, on State Route 14 in the Town of Dix. During the stop, deputies determined that Santangelo was allegedly driving while impaired by drugs.

In addition to the felony impaired driving charge, he was cited for multiple violations under New York’s Vehicle and Traffic Law. Law enforcement issued Santangelo Uniform Traffic Tickets, and he is scheduled to appear in the Town of Dix Court at a later date.
