Rochester Man Arrested on Drug Possession Charge Following Traffic Stop in Farmington
A Rochester man is facing a criminal charge after a traffic stop in Farmington led to the alleged discovery of a controlled substance.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 52-year-old Rafael Rodriguez was arrested shortly after midnight on April 9 following a traffic stop on State Route 96. Deputies reported that during the stop, Rodriguez was found to be in possession of cocaine.
Rodriguez was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
