Rochester Man Arrested in Eastview Mall Theft Incident

A Rochester man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a shoplifting incident at Eastview Mall, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say Dean S. Graunke, 41, was taken into custody on March 6 following a complaint from Von Maur, a department store located in the Town of Victor. Graunke is accused of leaving the store without paying for merchandise valued at $276.

Deputies responded to the incident around 7:38 p.m. and arrested Graunke on a charge of petit larceny. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
