The New York State Police are actively searching for 16-year-old Brenden M. Warner, who was last seen at his residence in the town of Clay around 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Warner is described as a white male with fair skin, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Authorities say he was last seen wearing a black cap, a red hoodie, and black or red pants. He was also carrying a red designer backpack.
While his direction of travel is unknown, police note that he was last seen on foot but may have gained access to a vehicle. Investigators believe he may be in the City of Syracuse.
Officials have issued a warning that Warner is believed to be armed and may be in distress. Police have searched multiple locations but have not yet located him.
Authorities urge the public not to approach Warner if spotted. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
