A Phoenix woman was arrested on March 3 for allegedly violating the terms of her conditional discharge, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies took Michele M. Vargason, 33, into custody at approximately 10:50 p.m. after a warrant was issued for her arrest. The warrant stemmed from a previous conviction in the Town of Tyre Court, where Vargason was found guilty of second-degree harassment and third-degree criminal mischief.
Authorities say Vargason violated her conditional discharge by failing to pay restitution, fees, and fines through the Seneca County Probation Department. She was initially detained by an agency in Onondaga County for an unrelated matter before being transferred to the custody of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Following her arrest, Vargason was processed and held at the Seneca County Jail. She was scheduled to appear in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Court to address the charge.
