Palmyra Man Arrested for Violating Sex Offender Registration Requirements
Noah Scribner, 32, of West Main Street, was taken into custody at approximately 2:08 p.m. after police determined he had not reported to the Palmyra Police Department to update his registration.
A Palmyra man was arrested on March 3 for allegedly failing to comply with New York State's Sex Offender Registration Act, according to local police.
Noah Scribner, 32, of West Main Street, was taken into custody at approximately 2:08 p.m. after police determined he had not reported to the Palmyra Police Department to update his registration information as required by law. Authorities stated that Scribner, classified as a level one sex offender, was in violation of Correction Law 168-F and was charged with a class E felony.
Following his arrest, Scribner was processed at the Palmyra Police Department and transported to Wayne County Jail. He was scheduled for arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court later that evening.
Scribner is expected to appear in Palmyra Village Court at a later date to address the charges.
