Pal-Mac Primary to Host Early Years Information Night for Families
Families with young children preparing to enter school in the Palmyra-Macedon School District are invited to attend the district’s annual Early Years Information Night on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The event, designed for families of children eligible for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) and Kindergarten, will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Pal-Mac Primary Gymnasium.
The information night is open to families residing in the Pal-Mac School District with children turning 4 years old by December 1, 2025, for UPK eligibility and 5 years old by December 1, 2025, for Kindergarten eligibility.
Ahead of the presentation, attendees are welcome to join a free community dinner at 5:15 p.m. in the cafeteria, where pizza, fresh fruits, vegetables, and bottled water will be available.
The event will offer insights into early childhood education at Pal-Mac Primary, including an overview of how young children learn. Families will have the opportunity to meet educators and staff members who work with the district’s youngest students. Additionally, a children’s activity portion will take place, where students can enjoy playtime and a movie in the cafeteria under the supervision of Mr. Peck and Community Schools staff.
Representatives from the school’s registrar’s office will also be available to assist families in scheduling registration appointments and answering questions. The registration window for UPK and Kindergarten will officially open on Monday, March 10, and run through Wednesday, March 19.
