A 35-year-old Oneida man has been arrested following an investigation into the online transmission of child sexual exploitation material, according to the New York State Police.
Jeremy J. Neidhart was charged on March 11, 2025, with two counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and two counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
The arrest followed an inquiry conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which executed a search warrant as part of the investigation. Multiple agencies were involved, including the State Police Computer Crime Unit – Troop D, the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Oneida, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Albany, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Oneida Police Department.
Following his arrest, Neidhart was transported to Madison County CAP Court for centralized arraignment.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the ongoing investigation.
