A North Rose man was arrested early Saturday morning following a traffic stop in Ontario County, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies stopped a vehicle near the intersection of State Route 332 and Yerkes Road in Canandaigua around 1:30 a.m. on March 8. During the stop, officers reportedly found a controlled substance in the possession of the driver, identified as Kevin L. Wilson, 67, of South Main Street, North Rose.
Wilson was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Authorities also issued traffic citations for operating an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended registration, having an obstructed license plate, and lacking a front license plate.
Wilson was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
