Niagara Falls Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Drug Charge
Law enforcement officials reportedly seized approximately 405 grams of cocaine, 300 grams of fentanyl, and six grams of crack cocaine, along with drug packaging materials and over $10k in cash.
A Niagara Falls man has pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge after an investigation uncovered significant quantities of fentanyl and cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York.
Jermaine McQueen, 46, admitted to possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl. The charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, with a potential maximum of 40 years and a fine of up to $5 million.
Authorities said the case stems from an investigation that led to search warrants being executed at multiple locations connected to McQueen on August 28, 2024. During the searches, law enforcement officials reportedly seized approximately 405 grams of cocaine, 300 grams of fentanyl, and six grams of crack cocaine, along with drug packaging materials, $10,625 in cash, and various pieces of jewelry. Investigators also stated that controlled purchases of fentanyl and cocaine were made from McQueen during the course of the probe.
The investigation involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Niagara Falls Police Department, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department, the North Tonawanda Police Department, the New York State Police, and the Erie County Sheriff’s Department.
McQueen’s sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
