Naples Woman Arrested on Harassment, Terroristic Threat Charges
A warrant for her arrest was issued after she allegedly made physical threats directed at law enforcement personnel and their family members.
A Naples woman was arrested this week after authorities say she made repeated, unwarranted calls to Yates County’s 911 center and allegedly issued threats against law enforcement officers and their families.
Laura M. Dicampli, 37, of Italy Valley Road, was taken into custody on March 5 following an investigation that spanned several months. Officials say Dicampli contacted the county’s emergency dispatch center multiple times a day without a legitimate reason. A warrant for her arrest was issued after she allegedly made physical threats directed at law enforcement personnel and their family members.
Dicampli was located by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. She has been charged with aggravated harassment, a Class A misdemeanor, and making a terroristic threat, a Class D felony.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the nature of the threats or the total number of calls made to emergency services.
