Monroe County Sheriff's Office Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect in Larceny Investigation

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a larceny investigation at a Wegmans store in Penfield.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on March 14, 2025, at approximately 8:05 a.m. at the Wegmans location on 2157 Penfield Road. The individual, seen in surveillance footage, was last observed leaving the scene in a gold Honda CRV.

Investigators have released an image of the person they are seeking to identify. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office by emailing mcsotips@monroecounty.gov and referencing case number CR #25-047119.

Officials remind the public that the tip email is not actively monitored in real-time, and anyone witnessing an active crime should call 911.
