The Marion Fire Department is holding a raffle to support its operations, offering a 36-inch Blackstone griddle with a smash burger and knife kit as the grand prize.
Community members can participate by making a donation, with each $5 contribution securing one entry and $20 earning five entries. Tickets are available through fire department members, at the Marion Fire Hall on Tuesday evenings around 7 p.m., or via the department’s Facebook page.
The winning ticket is set to be drawn on May 26, just before the town’s Memorial Day Parade. However, organizers note that if all 1,000 available tickets sell out beforehand, the drawing may take place sooner. As of the latest update, only 320 tickets remain.
The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing.
For more information or to purchase tickets, residents are encouraged to contact a fire department member or visit the fire hall during the designated time.
