Maddie & Tae to Perform at 2025 Great New York State Fair
The Great New York State Fair has announced that country music duo Maddie & Tae will perform at the Chevrolet Music Festival this summer. The award-winning pair is set to take the Chevy Court stage on Thursday, August 28, at 6 p.m.
Maddie & Tae, known for their tight harmonies and storytelling lyrics, gained national recognition in 2014 with their platinum-certified debut single, Girl in a Country Song. The track reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, making them only the third female duo in 70 years to achieve that milestone. Their catalog includes hits such as Fly, Friends Don’t, and the triple-platinum Die From a Broken Heart, which also topped the Country Airplay chart.
“Maddie & Tae have been a huge part of the country music scene for years and have worked with some of the biggest names in music along the way,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “With hits like Girl in a Country Song and Die From a Broken Heart, I have no doubt that fairgoers will be singing their hearts out at Chevy Court on August 28.”
The duo has received recognition from the Academy of Country Music, Billboard, Radio Disney Music Awards, and the Country Music Association. They have also toured with country music stars such as Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley.
The Great New York State Fair will run from Wednesday, August 20, through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. The Chevrolet Music Festival will feature 41 national acts, with concerts held at Chevy Court and Suburban Park. All performances are included with fair admission, which will go on sale later this summer. Ticket prices remain at $8 for adults, with free entry for children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and older.
