Macedon Man Cited Following Single-Vehicle Crash in Canandaigua

A Macedon man was cited following a single-vehicle crash on County Road 18 in Canandaigua on Saturday afternoon, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the crash at approximately 4:41 p.m. on March 2, where they determined that 25-year-old Dustin Proctor of Macedon had veered off the roadway and struck a tree. Authorities cited Proctor for unsafe speed and failure to keep right.

Both Proctor and a child passenger in the vehicle were uninjured, according to deputies. However, as a precautionary measure, the child was transported to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua for evaluation.
