A Lyons woman was arrested earlier this month following a reported disturbance at a residence in the Village of Red Creek.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call on April 1 involving an incident at a Main Street apartment. During their investigation, deputies determined that the woman, identified as 25-year-old Chelsea L. Hosmer of High Street in Lyons, had allegedly violated an active stay-away order of protection by being present at the residence.
The order had been issued to protect an individual at the location. As a result, Hosmer was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree.
She was processed at the scene and released with an appearance ticket. Hosmer is scheduled to appear in Wolcott Town Court at a later date for further proceedings.
